Last 13th May Filippo Tomasello, senior partner at EuroUSC Italia, finished delivering a three-day course in Den Haag (NL) on the international regulation of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS). The class included around 15 participants from the UAS team in the Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management and from the Environment and Transport Inspectorate (i.e. the Dutch Civil Aviation Authority).

The course spanned from ICAO to JARUS to EU/EASA provisions, including some examples of implementation in few European States.

Ron van de Leijgraaf, Senior Policy Officer Aviation Safety at the Ministry, who had organised the course, declared: “During these three days our team developed a common understanding of the international regulatory basis for unmanned aviation, which will enhance our internal communications and productivity”.

Filippo Tomasello, Senior Partner at EuroUSC-Italia, added: “We were very honoured by the confidence which the Dutch Ministry had put on our professionalism, and we are ready to support any other Authority in the world, including through the comprehensive portfolio of UAS courses available at JAA-Training Organisation”.

The course was attended also by two University students, Ahmed Ahmed and Frank Moeller, who received the attendance certificate at the end.
