COURSES FOR JAA-TO
EuroUSC Italia provides training courses for JAA-Training Organisation (JAA-TO), the European Training Centre of Excellence (TCE) recognized by the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO). It facilitates aviation-related knowledge solutions through innovative virtual training.
Find below the description of the courses provided by EuroUSC Italia for the JAA-to. For more information, visit the JAA-to website..
UAS – AWE: Airworthiness Requirements and Equipment for Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS)
The EASA Certified category includes drones intended for high-risk operations, therefore requiring an airworthiness certification applicable to the complete system. The course outlines all the specifications and certification processes for drones of different configurations and take-off masses, including the technical requirements necessary to obtain a CE marking for drones operating in the Open category.
Basics of European regulations of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS)
With the 2018 extension of the EASA mandate to all drones under 150kg, and the 2019 introduction of new common implementing rules, Europe is driving towards the progressive sharing of the technical standards and laws which regulate the UAS sector.
The UAS – INI course is held at the JAA-TO (Joint Aviation Authorities Training Organisation), providing an essential understanding of new emerging rules on safety, civil and criminal liability, privacy and data protection.
UAS – OPS: Professional operations of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS)
The UAS regulations framework is in constant development due to the committed work of regulatory bodies such as ICAO, JARUS, and EASA. The European approach follows an operation-centric approach and divides operations into three main categories: Category A (Open) with rigorous operational limitations, Category B (Specific) requiring a full risk analysis before receiving authorisation to operate, and Category C (Certified) which requires the certification of the drone and its operator, as per ICAO standards.
